These Pricing Terms, 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee, and Success Fee Terms ("Pricing Terms") apply to purchases made through Small Claims Genie ("Small Claims Genie," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing, subscribing to, or using any Small Claims Genie product, plan, service, document-preparation tool, case-preparation tool, AI-guided workflow, or related service, you agree to these Pricing Terms in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable posted terms.

Small Claims Genie is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation. We provide legal information, AI-assisted document preparation, case-organization tools, court-preparation assistance, and related self-help resources.

1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Small Claims Genie offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on eligible purchases.

If you are not satisfied for any reason during the first thirty (30) calendar days after your initial purchase, you may request a refund, and we will refund the amount you paid for the eligible purchase, subject to the exceptions and conditions stated in these Pricing Terms.

This guarantee is intended to be simple: during the first 30 days, you may request your money back for any reason, without needing to explain your reason.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you must contact Small Claims Genie within thirty (30) calendar days after the date of your initial purchase.

Refund requests must be submitted by email to:

Your refund request should include:

(a) your name;
(b) the email address used for the purchase;
(c) the date of purchase, if known; and
(d) a brief statement that you are requesting a refund under the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

You are not required to provide a reason for your refund request.

3. Refund Deadline

Refund requests must be received within thirty (30) calendar days after the original purchase date.

After the 30-day refund period expires, all fees are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise in writing by Small Claims Genie.

By completing your purchase, you agree that the 30-day refund period is a reasonable and clearly disclosed refund window. You further agree that, after the 30-day period expires, you will not initiate a credit-card dispute, chargeback, payment reversal, or similar payment challenge based solely on dissatisfaction, change of mind, non-use, delay in using the service, failure to request a refund on time, or misunderstanding of the refund deadline.

4. Exception: No Refund After a Winning Case Result

The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee does not apply if your hearing has occurred and you have won your case, as defined in these Pricing Terms and/or the applicable Small Claims Genie success-fee terms.

For purposes of these Pricing Terms, a "win," "winning the case," or "successful result" means that a court, judge, commissioner, arbitrator, settlement agreement, stipulation, dismissal agreement, payment agreement, or other case-resolution process results in you receiving, being awarded, being promised, becoming entitled to receive, or recovering money, property, debt relief, offset, dismissal of a claim against you, or other measurable benefit in connection with the claim or dispute for which you used Small Claims Genie.

A win may include, but is not limited to:

(a) a court judgment in your favor;
(b) a settlement payment;
(c) a written or oral settlement agreement;
(d) a payment plan;
(e) recovery of money, property, deposit, fees, damages, costs, or other value;
(f) dismissal, reduction, or compromise of a claim against you;
(g) cancellation, waiver, or forgiveness of an alleged debt or obligation;
(h) return of property;
(i) an agreement by the opposing party to pay or perform; or
(j) any other outcome that provides you with financial, property, legal, or practical value.

A case may be considered a win even if:

(a) you recover less than the full amount you requested;
(b) payment is made after the hearing;
(c) payment is made through settlement rather than judgment;
(d) the opposing party agrees to pay over time;
(e) the opposing party pays only part of the amount owed;
(f) the court awards you less than your demand;
(g) the matter resolves before trial, at trial, after trial, or through negotiation; or
(h) the result is achieved with help from documents, strategy, preparation, or information provided through Small Claims Genie.

If your hearing has already occurred and you have obtained a winning case result, you are not eligible for a refund under the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

5. When Money Is Due After a Winning Result

If your plan, purchase, subscription, or agreement includes a success fee, contingency-style service fee, post-result fee, or "only pay if you win" arrangement, then the success fee becomes due when a winning result occurs, whether by judgment, settlement, agreement, payment, dismissal, offset, waiver, or other qualifying resolution.

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, the success fee is due when the earliest of the following occurs:

(a) the court enters judgment or announces a decision in your favor;
(b) the opposing party agrees to pay, return property, waive money, reduce a claim, dismiss a claim, or provide another measurable benefit;
(c) you enter into a settlement agreement, payment agreement, stipulation, or other resolution;
(d) you receive money, property, debt relief, offset, dismissal, or other value;
(e) the case is resolved in a way that provides you with a financial, legal, or practical benefit; or
(f) you otherwise obtain a successful result related to the claim or dispute for which you used Small Claims Genie.

You agree to notify Small Claims Genie promptly after any hearing, settlement, judgment, dismissal, agreement, payment, or other case resolution that may qualify as a winning result.

6. No Refund Based on Later Outcome After a Win

Once a winning result occurs, fees owed to Small Claims Genie are earned and non-refundable, even if:

(a) the opposing party delays payment;
(b) the opposing party fails to pay immediately;
(c) you must take additional steps to collect;
(d) the court awards less than you requested;
(e) the opposing party appeals, challenges, or delays compliance;
(f) you later become dissatisfied with the amount recovered;
(g) collection proves difficult; or
(h) you decide you no longer want to use the service.

Small Claims Genie does not guarantee collection of a judgment or settlement unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

7. Chargebacks, Payment Disputes, and Card Reversals

By purchasing from Small Claims Genie, you agree to first contact Small Claims Genie directly regarding any billing issue, refund request, duplicate charge, mistaken charge, or dissatisfaction with the service.

You agree not to initiate a chargeback, payment reversal, bank dispute, credit-card dispute, or similar claim without first giving Small Claims Genie a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue, unless prohibited by applicable law.

You understand and agree that:

(a) the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee is the exclusive voluntary refund policy offered by Small Claims Genie;
(b) refund requests made after the 30-day period are not eligible for refund except where required by law;
(c) once the 30-day period expires, your payment is final;
(d) once your hearing has occurred and you have won your case, you are not eligible for a refund under the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee;
(e) if you receive a refund and later obtain a winning result using Small Claims Genie materials, documents, strategy, or preparation, any applicable success fee may still become due unless waived in writing by Small Claims Genie; and
(f) filing a payment dispute after the refund deadline, or after a winning result, may violate these Pricing Terms.

If you initiate an improper chargeback, payment reversal, or card dispute after the expiration of the refund period or after a winning result, Small Claims Genie reserves the right to provide these Pricing Terms, account records, purchase records, usage records, communications, document-generation records, court-preparation records, refund-policy disclosures, and related evidence to the payment processor, credit-card company, bank, or dispute-resolution provider.

8. Service Access After Refund

If we issue a refund, Small Claims Genie may terminate or restrict your access to paid tools, paid documents, paid workflows, case-preparation materials, account features, and related services.

You may not request a refund, continue using paid materials, and then use those materials to pursue or complete your case without paying any applicable fee owed under these Pricing Terms or a separate written agreement.

9. Abuse of Refund Policy

Small Claims Genie reserves the right to deny refunds, suspend accounts, terminate access, or refuse future service where we reasonably determine that a user is abusing the refund policy.

Refund abuse may include, but is not limited to:

(a) repeated purchases and refund requests;
(b) using the service substantially and then requesting a refund after receiving the benefit of the service;
(c) requesting a refund after a hearing has occurred and a winning result has been obtained;
(d) initiating a chargeback after failing to request a refund during the 30-day refund period;
(e) misrepresenting case status, hearing status, judgment status, settlement status, or payment status;
(f) creating multiple accounts to obtain repeated refunds; or
(g) using Small Claims Genie materials after receiving a refund.

10. No Guarantee of Legal Outcome

Small Claims Genie does not guarantee that you will win your case, recover money, obtain a judgment, collect a judgment, reach a settlement, avoid liability, or achieve any specific legal outcome.

Any examples, estimates, savings comparisons, case-preparation tools, AI-generated explanations, or strategy suggestions are informational only and do not guarantee a result.

11. Relationship to Other Terms

These Pricing Terms supplement and are incorporated into Small Claims Genie's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, AI Disclaimer, and any other applicable posted terms.

If there is a conflict between these Pricing Terms and another posted policy regarding refunds, payment timing, success fees, or chargebacks, these Pricing Terms control with respect to pricing, refunds, success fees, and payment disputes.

12. Changes to These Pricing Terms

Small Claims Genie may update these Pricing Terms from time to time. The version posted at the time of your purchase will generally apply to that purchase unless an updated version is required by law or expressly accepted by you.
